Tuesday, August 21 at 3:00PM, Tahoe Maritime Museum, Tahoe City. 


FREE! Experience a rehearsal of the Lake Tahoe Music Festival Academy Orchestra. Watch and listen as conductor Timm Rolek organizes different instruments and musicians into a harmonious and coordinated musical presentation. Starts at 3pm.

Wednesday, August 22 at 6:00PM, West Shore Cafe, Homewood.
Tickets $30, children free. The lawn next to West Shore Café is the perfect setting to listen to classical music.  Maestro Timm Rolek will lead with compositions inspired by Italian life. Highlighted will be an Italian Opera with music by Rossini, Mozart, and Verdi - plus work by David Nelson.  Add dinner at the West Shore Cafe or bring a picnic. Gate opens at 5pm - concert at 6pm.

After 3p on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday same day tickets will be available at the gate which opens at 5pm.  Bring your low back lawn chair, favorite beverage and a picnic.  No tickets will be sold at the gate at PJ's at Gray's Crossing.

Thursday, August 23 at 6:00PM, Sugar Pine Point State Park, Tahoma.
The Academy Orchestra highlights Shakespeare, composed by Mendelssohn – Midsummer Night’s Dream ballet (Overture 12’, Intermezzo no.5 4’, Nocturne no.7 7’, Scherzo no.1 5’,) with a performance by the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective. Also to be performed are Beethoven’s  – Coriolan Overture (8’) and Korngold.



Friday, August 24 at 6:00PM, West End Beach, Donner Lake. 
The Academy Orchestra highlights Shakespeare composed by Mendelssohn – Midsummer Night’s Dream ballet (Overture 12’, Intermezzo no.5 4’, Nocturne no.7 7’, Scherzo no.1 5’), with a performance by the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective. Also featured is Beethoven’s  – Coriolan Overture (8’), Elgar and Korngold. 

Lake Tahoe Music Festival weekend concerts. Gates open at 5pm, concert starts at 6pm on Saturday. On Sunday, gates open at 4pm and concert starts at 5pm. Same day tickets will be available after 3pm at the gate.


Saturday, August 25 at 6:00PM,  Skylandia Beach, Tahoe City.

Tickets $30, children free. The concert includes the first-ever Lake Tahoe Music Festival performances of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto featuring Daniel Gilbert. The concerto is one of Mozart's final completed works, and his final purely instrumental work.  The concerto is notable for its delicate interplay between soloist and orchestra.  Next is Mozart's dazzling overture to his opera Così fan tutte followed by Beethoven’s playful Symphony no 8. Bring a picnic, favorite beverage and low backed chair. Gate opens at 5pm - concert begins at 6pm.

 


August 26 at 5:00PM,  PJ’s at Gray's Crossing, Truckee - SOLD OUT

Tickets $75 and include dinner. A sumptuous dinner buffet will be included in the ticket price for the final performance of the Music Festival.  The concert includes the first-ever Lake Tahoe Music Festival performances of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto featuring Daniel Gilbert.
