Polar Express™ standard "COACH" class. Departs from the Carson City Eastgate Depot. This diesel train ride is one hour long and runs Thursdays through Sundays - See calendar for available dates. Look to the bottom of the list for Twilight tickets.
Because most Polar trains have sold out, we try and make things easier by listing the trains with availability.

Experience the magic aboard The Polar Express™. The train departs the Carson City Depot through rolling hills to begin its magical journey. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while anticipating a special visit to Santa’s North Pole! Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas.

Ride in the same car with friends: If you have friends riding on the same time/date, simply arrange with them ahead of time to ride on car one, two or three (all cars have identical seating). Arrive 1/2 hour early and ask for the same car your friends chose at Will Call.

We strongly recommend booking your ticket in Advance. An 8% Historic Preservation fee and a $7 ticketing fee for each ticket will be added at checkout whether online, in person or over the phone. NO CANCELLATIONS.

DIRECTIONS TO CARSON CITY DEPOT:
From Reno: Take the new HWY 580 heading South toward Carson City. As you arrive in Carson City, stay on the new highway and take “EXIT 39 - HWY 50 East Dayton/Fallon”. Turn left onto HWY 50 East (Williams Street) and drive East exactly 3.4 miles toward Dayton (passing Eagle Valley Golf Course on your left) to just where the center cement barricades end. Turn right onto Flint Drive, go, exactly .3 miles, turn left onto Eastgate Siding Rd. following the signs to Eastgate Depot.
FROM CARSON CITY: From downtown (ARCO/ampm), corner of North Carson Street and Williams Street (HWY 50), drive East on Williams Street (toward Dayton) drive exactly 4.9 miles (passing Eagle Valley Golf Course on your left) to just where the center cement barricades end. Turn right onto Flint Drive, go, exactly .3 miles, turn left onto Eastgate Siding Rd. following the signs to Eastgate Depot.
FROM LAKE TAHOE: Take HWY 50 toward Carson City. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto HWY 395 (S. Carson Street) and drive North for exactly 3.4 miles. Turn right onto Williams Street (HWY 50) and drive East (toward Dayton) exactly 4.9 miles (passing Eagle Valley Golf Course on your left) to just where the center cement barricades end. Turn right onto Flint Drive, go, exactly .3 miles, turn left onto Eastgate Siding Rd. following the signs to Eastgate Depot.
This activity is handicapped accessible in certain situations but not all. Aisles & doors on the train are 24 inches wide and can accommodate wheelchairs. The 100 year old train is wheelchair accessible. Accommodations for scooters are subject to size and weight. Special needs patrons need to make arrangements before hand.
No dogs allowed except for service dogs.
